Our goal is to provide you with all the resources and action items you need to feel acclimated and welcomed into our community.

Here is Your Back-To-School Checklist
To help get you ready for school, below is a breakdown of action items you will need to take.
Become familiar with the FACTS Family Portal
Rockbridge Academy utilizes the FACTS family of school management products, including FACTS Family Portal, FACTS Tuition Management, and FACTS Grant and Aid. All of these tools are accessed by logging into the FACTS Family Portal with the login that you created when you submitted your enrollment packet.
Submit important health documents and emergency forms
If you haven’t done so already, please log into the FACTS Family Portal to verify your family's demographic and annual emergency information under WebForms by the first day of school.
In order to administer prescription or even over-the-counter medication at school, the parents/guardians and your family physician must complete a consent form each school year.

For Over-The-Counter medication like acetaminophen or ibuprofen, please take THIS FORM to your physician for a signature.
For prescription medication like inhalers, EpiPen® injections, or insulin, please take THIS FORM to your physician for a signature.
Get the Right School Supplies
A list of supplies for each grade can be found in the Family Portal under School > Resource Documents.

Purchase Uniforms
The new uniform requirements are on the Rockbridge sites for Land's End. All uniform items must be from Land’s End (school code: 900030701), except where noted. For more information on our dress code, please visit our Dress Code page on our main site.
Please be aware of the option to purchase gently used uniform pieces via our website, Uniformee.

Register for Rockbridge Athletics
If your child is participating in any Rockbridge athletic programs, complete the 2023-24 Rockbridge Athletics Registration Form through TeamSnap (coming in July) and the Health History and Physical Examination Form. All athletes must submit a current physical (dated within 12 months of the sports season) before practices begin.
The Rockbridge athletics fee is $300 per athlete and will be charged to your FACTS account after practices begin.

Yay! Lunch and Chick-fil-A, Rockbridge Academy’s hot lunch programs, are available for purchase to all students. Parents must pre-order. Sign up coming in August.
How We Stay Connected
The eSSENTIALS
Email is a key means of communicating with our families and is generally sent out weekly. The eSSENTIALS will provide you with calendar updates, event information, and action items. Please be sure to read it every week. Past editions are archived in FACTS Family Portal.
The Benedictio: A Good Word
Email encourages the wider Rockbridge community with articles, devotionals, photos, alumni updates, etc. Be on the lookout for your favorite students!
Email protocol
All faculty, staff, and board members have a Rockbridge Academy email account. The account protocol is first name initial last name @rockbridge.org, as in asmith@rockbridge.org.
Visit the school
The Evergreen Campus office is open from 9:00 am—3:00 pm, Monday - Friday during the summer. The office number is 410-923-1171. Receptionists are there to assist you and answer your questions now and throughout the school year. We encourage you to sit in on classes during the school year — just let us know you’re coming.
Weekly Letter
Students in grades K-6 will receive a weekly letter and calendar each Friday. The calendar will be located in their Home Folders, and the letter will either be a hard copy in the Home Folder or an email home to you. The letter will detail information on assignments, curriculum, upcoming events, and topics of note for students and families.
Google Classroom
Upper School students will be given an @rockbridge.org email address to access Google Classroom as a repository for classroom resource documents.
Home Room
Upper School students will receive daily announcements and information on upcoming events in their homerooms.
FACTS Family Portal
School wide announcements will be posted in FACTS Family Portal under School Home and past eSSENTIALS and Messages from the Headmaster are archived under School Resource Documents. (FACTS is sometimes referred to as Renweb, it’s former name.)
